Kamil lives in an orphanage. He was born with several severe defects that include a type of spina bifida called myelomeningocele that kept his backbone and spinal canal from closing before birth and hydrocephaly, an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the ventricles of the brain. Despite his young age he has already undergone brain surgery. The orphanage is not able to cover the costs of the medical care he requires. AORF and our donors can help!
