Alexis Cort brings over two decades of experience in operations, finance, managed care contracting and technology to the Aid for Orphans Relief Foundation. Alexis founded Clinical Insights, LLC., a healthcare, technology and security consultancy in Hamden, CT. Previously he served as the Executive Director of the Yale-New Haven Community Medical Group, an independent physician association of 600 members.
His knowledge of medical technology has led Alexis to make valuable contributions to his community through both his career accomplishments and the pro-bono work he provides, including technology assistance to a nonprofit providing support to breast cancer survivors. Alexis has also been active in the American Heart Association, the Multiple Sclerosis Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
In addition to receiving an MBA from the Yale School of Management, Alexis also holds aerospace and mechanical engineering degrees from the University of Arizona. He holds certificates in engineering, information security and Six Sigma methodologies, and has authored a manual on HIPAA implementation for small practices, as well as many patents, technical papers and research papers.
