John J. Esposito, Jr., Esq. was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and raised in North Branford, Connecticut.  He graduated from Hamden Hall Country Day School in 1980, and went on to attend Boston College, where he majored in Philosophy and Theology.  While at Boston College, he was elected to membership in the National Honor Society in Philosophy, Phi Sigma Tau.  Mr. Esposito graduated from Boston College in 1984, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree, and upon graduation, he was named Scholar of the College.  Mr. Esposito continued his education in Boston, attending Suffolk University Law School, where, in 1987, he received his Juris Doctor.  Following graduation, Mr. Esposito was admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, becoming a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.  That same year, 1987, Mr. Esposito joined a law firm founded by his father, John J. Esposito, Sr., which eventually became known as the Esposito Law Firm.  In 1993, Mr. Esposito was also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, District of Connecticut.

Over the last twenty-five years in private practice, Mr. Esposito has been active in the general practice of law, focusing on personal injury, workers’ compensation, construction disputes, probate matters, estate planning, and real estate law.  In the public forum, Mr. Esposito served on the North Branford Zoning Board of Appeals, where he eventually became Vice-Chairman.

Mr. Esposito hopes that members of the next generation of his family will choose to join the Esposito Law Firm, keeping the tradition of a family-owned business alive, and extending the legacy initiated by his father.
