Jan Bershtein is an attorney that has been practicing law in Hamden, Connecticut for over 25 years with her father, Herman S. Bershtein, and siblings. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts then went on to law school at Benjamin Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University where she received her Judicial Doctorate. Recently, she opened two satellite offices in West Haven and East Haven, Connecticut to focus on catering to the Latin communities in light of the recent racial profiling issues that have surfaced and continue to be an ongoing challenge in this environment.
In addition to practicing law, Jan enjoys running, working out and spending time with her family. Jan and Art are the proud parents of Marc, 19 and Lexi 17. She has been actively involved in her children’s schools activities at Hamden Hall Country Day School and Sacred Heart. She is also interested in community activities including the Anti-Defamation League.
