Fund-Raising Concert at the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York

images/img_4659.jpgOn Saturday, April 28th, 2012, the Aid for Orphans Relief Foundation held a benefit concert at the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York City.  It was a violin recital performed by acclaimed violinists, Ania Filochowska and Piotr Filochowski, who were accompanied by renowned Australian pianist, David Fung.  The artists gave up their honorariums to support the Aid for Orphans Relief Foundation.  The concert was opened with remarks by Dr. Margaret Chustecki, the Founder and Managing Director of AORF, who spoke about the achievements so far, as well as plans for the near future.  The recital was enjoyed by everyone who came and the event was concluded with a reception, where listeners had the chance to purchase CD recordings of Ania and Piotr Filochowski.  These proceeds, in addition to those of the ticket sales, were donated to the Aid for Orphans Relief Foundation.
