Patricia McNeel

Volunteer in our charity foundation – Patricia McNeel

Patricia McNeel is one of our volunteers. She’s helping our non-profit organization in every way she can.

Patricia McNeel is a 26-year-old good-hearted woman who lives to help others. She was born and raised in Hamden (CT). Her home was the first place where she learned that there is nothing more important than helping the other person.

Her story

Patricia was the first child in her family. Her younger sister, Amelia, was born with Down syndrome and needed a lot of attention from her parents. Patricia helped them every way she could. She studied and played with Amelia every day, and she learned how to take care of a special needs child. Patricia knows how hard is to look after a child with a chronic condition. She understands that a lot of time and money is required to provide such a child with all the care he or she needs. Unfortunately, not every child is so lucky to have parents and older sisters like Patricia.

New way for helping others – volunteering

Unfortunately, Amelia is no longer with us. She passed away in 2013, but Patricia still felt a strong need to look after someone. She was searching for a way to support others with her experience, skills and talents. Her first thought was to join a non-profit organization and so he did.

She learned about Aid for Orphans Relief Foundation from the Internet. Right away she contacted us and said that she is a qualified programmer and would like to volunteer her services.

Fund-raising pages

From that day she has been a part our non-profit foundation. She works on creating fund-raising pages and helps us with graphic design issues. Patricia helps us and it is a direct way to help children who need our assistance to access food, medicines, and medical and hygiene supplies. We are grateful that wonderful people like Patricia are willing to make a change in the world.
